On 8 September 2026, Zimbabwe Land and Agrarian Network (ZiLAN) facilitated a mushroom seed production training session in Gosha for mushroom beneficiaries and Zimbabwe Smallholder Organic Farmers Forum (ZIMSOFF) farmers. The training was conducted by Mr. Kudakwashe Mandamwa, a mushroom production expert. A total of 19 participants attended including 4 men and 15 women. The purpose of the training was to equip farmers with knowledge on mushroom seed production, reduce production costs and encourage them to sell seed to other farmers so that mushroom farming could be treated as a viable business.
