Zimbabwe Land and Agrarian Network (ZiLAN) in partnership withthe Environmental Management Agency (EMA) and the Zimbabwe Farmers Union (ZFU) held a training on climate change, environmental justice and tree planting. The workshop brought together 70 participants, comprising of 28 men and 42 women including traditional leaders, women and youth farmers from 6 wards in Chikomba District (ward 3, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 29), representatives from the Ministry of Women Affairs, local government officials, as well as Agricultural Business Advisory Officer (ABAO). The training was facilitated by Mr. Dera from EMA, supported by Mary Magombedze from ZFU and a senior Agricultural Business Advisory Officer (ABAO) from Ward 24. This training aimed to strengthen community resilience against adverse climatic shifts, promote fair land governance and establish practical agro-forestry interventions within rural communities.
